Confraria Marítima de Portugal visita Peniche durante o Festival Sabores do Mar

Inserida no programa do XII Festival Sabores do Mar, que decorre em Peniche até ao próximo Domingo, terá lugar, no dia 16 de Julho, a partir das 10h45, uma visita a esta cidade da Confraria Marítima de Portugal.
A Confraria Marítima de Portugal, ligada às questões do mar, será recebida pelo Presidente da Câmara Municipal de Peniche, António José Correia, na Ribeira Velha, junto à Caravela “Vera Cruz”, presentemente aportada neste porto. No programa da deslocação desta confraria destacam-se as visitas aos Estaleiros Navais de Peniche, às obras do Centro de Alto Rendimento do Surf, ao Porto de Pesca, e à intervenção de reabilitação do Fosso das Muralhas, finalizando o itinerário na marina de recreio, junto à embarcação réplica da caravela quinhentista, tendo aí lugar, pelas 12h45, a cerimónia de entronização de novos confrades, seguida de almoço.
